Siltepecana is a lesson in juvenile versus adult form. Young leaves are silver and lance-shaped. Once it grips a support, they enlarge, darken, and begin to divide.
Keep a creeping section if you love the silver. Train it up and add light if you want the adult leaf.
Do not panic when the silver fades. That is maturity, not a deficiency.
