True Obliqua has a paper-thin blade and an extreme hole-to-tissue ratio. Most plants sold under the name are Adansonii.
If you are sure you have Obliqua, grow it like an orchid: bark, perlite, very open sphagnum, high ambient humidity, filtered light.
Never leave it soggy. One rotten node can end the plant. Look at the hole edges: the real species is almost all vein.
